German photographer Thomas Kalak is making pictures in Thailand since 1990. His biggest passion is the Thai letter forms. Thomas collected thousands of pictures with all kins of Thai letters. From hand written price tags to hotel gates or advertising. The e-book “Thai-types” will be soon available on Kalak’s webpage.
His newest printed book “Thailand – same same, but different!” is out now. Beside Thai types the illustrated book documents objects from the streets of Thailand that are often quirky, funny and peculiar. It illustrates a different side of Thailand.
